📌About The Program
Tuition-free Parenting Education Classes at Glendale Community College are designed for parents/caregivers and their children aged 0 to 6 years. You can find the schedule of classes on our website at gcpea.org, in the Instagram Highlights section, or Featured section on Facebook.

📌The Glendale College Parenting Education Association (GCPEA) supports the program by organizing fundraising events and activities to better serve the community.

Mark your calendars for our Welcome Back Event on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 10 AM. Hosted at the Life Skills Building, this event is packed with exciting activities for all ages. Best of all, it’s completely FREE!

Join us for:

- Pump & Splash: A splash-tastic fun time!
- Story & Circle Time: Engaging stories for the little ones.
- Music Activity: Let the rhythm move you!
- Water Play: Cool off with some watery fun.
- Ice Cream: Enjoy a sweet treat to top off the day.

Bring your family for a day of community, fun, and celebration. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Join us this Saturday, May 18 from 10:30am-2pm for a family picnic. Bring your picnic lunch and join GCPEA families in a fun morning of games, activities and meet Mickey Mouse at 11:30am.

Get your walking shoes ready and let's have some holiday fun 🎉 Put on green attire 💚, decorate your strollers, scooters, and wagons with lights 🔆 to make them sparkle.

🥁The City of Glendale is proud to sponsor the Montrose Christmas Parade. 2023 marks the 45th year of the parade, which will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 6 pm.

All Glendale families are welcome to join in the fun with the Glendale College Parenting Education Association (GCPEA)!

⏰We'll meet at the corner of Agner Ave and Honolulu Ave in Montrose at 5 pm.

The actual parade starts at 6 pm but we need to be there early. Before the parade we are going to hand out elf caps to the participants of our group and to take a picture of our group with a GCPEA banner.

🥨☕Some light refreshments will be served too thanks to our sponsors.

The parade itself begins at Honolulu Ave & Rosemont Ave and runs east to Verdugo Rd. The center of the parade is the intersection of Honolulu Ave & Ocean View Blvd.

🚗Parking is available in the open city parking lots (Glendale Lots 1, 2, and 7 will be closed), on the open side streets and within the surrounding neighborhoods. Keep in mind that temporary street closures will impact traffic that day starting at 3 pm.

The holidays are upon us! Want to treat yourself or a loved one to some delicious chocolates?

GCC's Parent Child Program needs your support! We are selling yummy See's Candies to help raise funds for our program. This year the fundraising is all online and all candies will be conveniently shipped directly to your home! Part of the proceeds (20% to 50% of the candy price) will go directly to our program.

Join us for a fun free, virtual arts and crafts event for kids ages 2-5 with adults assistance!

All parenting students are invited to join the CalWORKs Parents Program THIS FRIDAY at 6:45 p.m. for Family Movie Night! Watch Wall-E outdoors under the stars!

GCC CalWORKs will provide dinner, popcorn, a blanket to sit on, and some fun goodies, while supplies last. You bring your family and know your Student ID!
